H1N1 Flu Updates -World Pandemic in Phase 6 (27,717+ U.S. citizens affected to date) |

The world's stats as of July 1 are: 77,201 confirmed cases, 332 deaths, within 76 countries. The U.S. has not declared this a pandemic for this nation, but it could be in the fall per this earlier news release.
On June 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) upgraded the H1N1 Flu Virus status to that of a world PANDEMIC. On June 15, the WHO upgraded the pandemic's "level" to a Phase 6 -- meaning the worldwide spread is increasing.
